Introduction to genome based analysis of quantitative traits with machine learning and non-parametric methods
The purpose of this course was to provide an updated training on the statistical methods developed for analysing genomic data. Special emphasis were put on Bayesian methods and variants. This course was taught at an intermediate level. Knowledge of matrix algebra, linear models and distribution theory was assumed. Knowledge on elementary Bayesian inference was provided.
The lecturer was Pr. Daniel Gianola, Professor at the University of Wisconsi-Madison.
