Purpose of the workshop

The aim of the meeting was to bring together the Populus research community within EVOLTREE. The following objectives were addressed:

  • Decide on HT sequencing requirements
  • Decide on HT genotyping platform
  • Determine traits for adaption to drought and adaption to day length
  • Sharing of QTLs
  • Report of comparative mapping in five mapping POPs
  • Report of progess of the cMAP database
  • Develop a workplan for the remainder of the project
