This course was offered within the work package SEA 1.4, but it was also open for PhD students within EVOLTREE. It was organised by the Technische Universität München in cooperation with the Helmholtz-Zentrum München (P15).
Within a total of 5 days, lectures and lab courses were scheduled for 4 days and completed by a one-day field trip, in order to assess current threats of forest ecosystems (exemplified by mass infestations of insects) and to discuss protective measures.
The course addressed the verification of stress response at a scale from genes to landscapes with main emphasis on selected genomic, proteomic and metabolomic parameters, and with inclusion of abiotic and biotic stresses
